Crypto Market Falls As Bitcoin And Ethereum Enters Red Region

On Saturday, the prices of digital currencies were in the red. Top currencies like BTC and ETH dropped as altcoins and meme coins followed suit. 

Crypto Market Volume Drops By 36%

By press time, the crypto market valuation was at $916.70 billion. Meanwhile, Coinmarketcap data reveals the cryptocurrency market trading volume fell by 36.51% to about $53.15 billion in the last 24 hours.

Although most cryptocurrencies were trading in the red region today, Quant (QNT) examined a top gainer trading at $178. The token has gained 5.59% in the past 24 hours. 

However, TerraClassic USD (USTC) was the top loser, which fell by 7.61%, trading at $0.04 by press time.

Bitcoin (BTC)

Bitcoin dipped by 2.68% in the past 24 hours. The currency is currently at $19,154. Also, the currency market capitalization dropped by 2.25% to $367.7 billion. 

In addition, its trading volume fell to $29.63 billion after witnessing a 40.36% fall. BTC’s supremacy in the cryptocurrency market fell by 0.11% to 40.06%.

Ethereum (ETH) 

The leading altcoin, ETH, also fell by 3.34% to $1,285. Since the latest merge, the coin has dropped below $1500. 

Also, ETH’s market capitalization fell by 3.24% to $157 billion. Additionally, its trading volume also dropped 42.49% to $10.63 billion.

Ripple (XRP)

Amid Ripple’s ongoing battle with the US SEC, XRP has declined by 3.13% to $0.48. Similarly, its market capitalization dipped by 3.13% to $24.7 billion. Also, the token’s trading volume has dropped by 41.94% to $1.9 billion in the past 24 hours.

Solana (SOL) 

In the past week, the Solana blockchain has been facing technical issues shutting down several times. The Ethereum Killer also dropped as the rest of the crypto market declined. 

SOL dropped by 4.59% in the past 24 hours to $29.89. Its market capitalization declined by 4.75% to $10.5 billion, while its trading volume decreased by 37.9% to $727.82 million.

Cardano (ADA)

ADA also dipped by 4.19% to $0.3657. Simultaneously, its market valuation fell by 4.18% to $12.59 billion. However, ADA’s trading volume increased by 46.13% to $460.8 million.

Dogecoin (DOGE) 

Dogecoin’s price plummeted by 2.89% to $0.0586 in the past 24 hours. Its market valuation declined by about 2.90% to $7.8 billion. Also, DOGE’S trading volume dropped to $209.9 million by 49.21%.

Shiba Inu (SHIB) 

Furthermore, SHIB dropped by 2.61% to $0.00001015. Also, its market valuation dropped to $5.702 billion by 2.55%. Also, its trading volume fell 54.22% to $176.5 million.
